Director of Hope Ministries
Hillary Oswald
Hillary is the Director of Hope Ministries, which includes the Hope Counseling Center. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University. She also has a Master’s degree in Counseling & Development from Lamar University. Hillary spent several years teaching elementary school, before pursuing her counseling degree. Hillary is married to her wonderful husband, Scott, and they have one active little boy. Hillary is passionate about helping those who are in need of hope, and equipping them with the resources and tools they need to become overcomers.

Hope Ministries Assistant
Cristen Riggs
Cristen has been involved with Hope Ministries for several years in various roles. She is passionate about ministering to mothers, leading Bible studies, and spreading the gospel of Jesus. Her past work experience as a receptionist and manager has really helped in her admin role in this ministry area. Her family includes her husband, Garrett, and their 2 children.

Certified Biblical Counselor
Jenna Lawrence
Jenna Lawrence is a certified Biblical Counselor through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has a Master of Arts in Counseling through B. H. Carroll Theological Seminary. She understands that making the step to pursue counseling can be overwhelming and possibly even generate feelings of fear. She desires to provide a welcoming, safe space for you to share your story and then work collaboratively with you to reach your goals using integrative and adaptable strategies unique to your situation. She is willing to see anyone, including children, but she primarily works with college students and women She specializes in anxiety, depression, and life transitions including becoming empty-nesters and moving on after a divorce. She has been married to her husband for sixteen years and they are the proud parents of a beautiful daughter.

Heidi Dixon M.Ed
Heidi Dixon is a wife, mother, hospice chaplain, and a grief support group facilitator. She graduated in December 2024 with a master’s degree in education in marriage, couples, and family counseling from Lamar University. She is also the author of My Little Blue House: A Life-After-Love Story.

Community Awareness & Support Coach
Natalie Haney
Natalie is a certified life coach. She is a mental health peer and has lived out recovery for the last 15 years by God’s grace! Natalie is pursuing a Ph. D. in Christian Leadership, researching how spiritual formation supports mental health recovery. She is an advocate for bringing the local church to the table as a change agent in community mental health. She provides coaching, trainings, and workshops to strengthen the inclusive social ties of those who are experiencing symptoms of severe and persistent mental health conditions.

Biblical Life Coach
Beth Medley
Beth Medley is an Elite Certified Life and Leadership Coach based in College Station, TX. Over the past 2 years, she has served clients across the nation. Her mission in life is to see the people of God equipped to live in the fullness of who they were created to be and do what God has set aside for them to do. She is an experienced trauma-informed life coach and has a passion for walking her people into emotional wellness.

Counseling Student Intern: Practicing under the supervision of Christy Birgen, LPC
Kristi Mueller
Kristi is a graduate student earning her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is being supervised by Christy Birgen, LPC, LMFT. She will graduate in August of 2025. She is blessed with two adult children. She is looking forward to helping individuals of all ages and walking with them through the struggles and challenges in their lives.
