About Us
Hope Counseling Center opened in 2023 and was developed to provide individualized and in-depth support for grieving individuals.
While our Mending Hearts Grief Center was a safe place for people to come and receive group grief support, we realized that some needed more support than Mending Hearts was equipped to offer.

Enter the Hope Counseling Center.
Now we offer individual, couple, and family counseling for people of all ages, including children. What started with just grief counseling has now expanded to counseling and coaching for trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, difficult relationships, and much more.
Our Core Values
God’s fruit can grow anywhere.
Given the right environment and tools, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control can be cultivated and experienced in all circumstances. (2 Corinthians 3:17, Colossians 5:22-23)

Jesus is enough.
The sacrifice He made is sufficient to give us all the abilities that we need to move through every mess life could give us. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

We heal in relationship.
Healing happens together. If we are hurt in relationship, we heal in relationship. We foster healthy relationships that are grounded in mutual trust, honesty, and respect. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
The Word of God is life.
We believe that scripture is the inherent word of God and it shapes all of our beliefs and worldviews. (Matthew 4:4, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Clear is kind.
We believe that open, honest, two-way communication must be present in every interaction in order to cultivate healthy relationships. (Matthew 5:37)
We have the mind of Christ.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can transform our minds to think the way that God thinks about ourselves, about Himself, and about other people. God made our brains with the ability to plow new neural pathways to know the truth. (1 Corinthians 2)
